Steven Giang ODDr. Steven Giang, O.D., earned his Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University in 2013. In 2019, he graduated with his optometry degree from Midwestern University College of Optometry. He completed his clinical rotation at the New Jersey Veterans Affairs. For two and a half years after graduation, he worked at the Southern Indian Health Council and gained experience in disease management. His favorite things about optometry is being able to meet new people and watching them grow throughout the years. He also enjoys teaching patients about their eyes. Dr. Giang is a San Diego native. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, offshore-fishing, and training Muay Thai (a form of martial arts practiced in Thailand).

Ashley Tang ODDr. Ashley Tang is a San Diego native. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in
Psychology and Health Care from the University of California, San Diego. She went on to receive her
Doctor of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2018. She is an active member
of the San Diego Optometric Association, serving as a society board member from 2023-2024. Although
she has experience in a variety of settings (including the VA system, corporate, and ophthalmology), her
favorite mode of practice is in private practice. Dr. Tang feels that private practice best aligns with her
values and she enjoys spending time with her patients to give them the best care possible. Her areas of
interest include dry eye disease, specialty contact lenses, and glaucoma. In her spare time, Dr. Tang
enjoys spending time with cooking, trying new foods, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
